Country house built between 1777-1790 designed by Samuel Wyatt. Listed Grade I. Park landscaped by Lancelot Brown in 1770s. Family seat of the Delves Broughton family. Occupied by the family until requisitioned by the MOD in WWII. A girls school (Goudhurst College) between 1946-1984. Vacant since 1985.


Opening Arrangements

Access to exterior: 9 and 10 April, 7 and 8 May, 11 and 12 June, 9 and 10 July, 13 and 14 August,8 - 11 September 10am - 2pm. Access to interior: by prior arrangement


Entrance off A51 between Nantwich and Woore. Rail: Crewe (10 miles), Nantwich (7 miles).
