Grade II listed large church designed by R Basnett Preston. Built in Perpendicular style of red brick in Flemish bond with sandstone dressings. Consecrated in 1898 by Bishop Ryle. Fine Harrison & Harrison organ rebuilt in 2000. Remembrance chapel, Remembrance Garden and Baby Garden.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Sundays 12 noon - 1 pm and Wednesdays 9.30am -12 noon. Thursday Mornings 9.30-11.30 am At other times by prior arrangement. Also open for concerts and other events throughout the year. Also Monday mornings 9.30 - 11.30 am


On the A595 main road from Southport to Preston. Rail: Southport (1 mile). Bus: No's 44, 2, 2X, 47 and 15 from Southport Lord Street.
