Six historic cast iron finger posts, the only remaining examples of traditional direction signs located at principal junctions on the London Borough of Enfield's road network. The destinations indicate long standing settlements still recognisable within the modern borough. The locations are: Village Road junction with Park Avenue; Village Road junction with Church Street; Green Lanes-Aldermans Hill junction; Station Road-Green Lanes junction; Southgate Circus; Southgate Green.
