Built c1400 and used as a home, office and court for the Archbishop of York's bailiff who administered Hexhamshire from the Hall. The former stores on the ground floor are now an art gallery, the first floor courtroom houses The Woodhorn Trust's offices and the second floor hall is used for community activities.


Opening Arrangements

Courtroom and second floor are open for community activities six days a week during school term time- ranging from ballet classes to Scottish Country dancing. Individuals can also visit by appointment and the building is open for Heritage Open Days 8th-11th September 2016.
