Built 1869-72 for the Jesuits by Joseph Aloysius Hansom in French Gothic style. The interior is spacious and airy with very tall aisle arcades and a broad four bay nave. Elaborate stained glass windows by Hardman, Woodruffe and Lavers and Westlake.
Summer: Monday - Friday 9am - 6.30pm; winter: 9am - 4.30pm. Saturday 9am - 1pm; Sunday 9.30am - 12.00 noon. Closed Christmas Day and Easter Sunday except for services.
