A large impressive church by William Henry Crossland of Halifax 1865. An important landmark in the area, having a 226ft spire. Stained glass by Clayton and Bell and Messrs O'Connor. Isaac Abbott organ.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9am to 1pm during term time. Visitors to report to Church Office. Other times by prior arrangement.

Directions

Ossett is one mile west of M1 junction 40 on A638. Church is ½ mile north of town centre on Church Street. Rail: Dewsbury (2.7 miles), Wakefield (3.9 miles). Bus: Routes 119, 120, 127, 117, 253, 254 and 278 (from Wakefield to various destinations).
