Grade II listed parish church built in1844 of brick with Welsh slate roof. Nave with apse, gabled south porch and bell turret. Built as a Chapel of Ease as part of the United Parish of South Sarle, Girton and Besthorpe. One of eleven churches in the East Trent group.


Opening Arrangements

In the centre of Besthorpe, on the A1133, 2 miles north of Collingham and 8 miles from Newark. OS 825648. Rail: Collingham (2 miles), Newark Northgate (7 miles), Newark Castle (8 miles). Bus: no. 67 (Saxilby - Newark)
