Built c1844 in a hilltop mining and quarrying village in the Peak District. Chapel style construction with vestry added c1925. Notable craftsmanship in the use of materials. Fine castellated parapet, large windows provide a light interior and sense of space. Wrought iron screen separates chancel from nave. Gallery at rear provides extra seating

On the B5023 main street through the village adjacent to the school. Rail: Cromford or Matlock (both 3 miles). Bus: Sixes No 6.1 (from Derby to Matlock).
