Holy Trinity, Towngate, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire HD9 1HA View on map

Grade II listed church c1780 by Joseph Jagger with Victorian additions. Gallery on north and south sides on slender Doric columns. Interesting stained glass windows and a Royal Coat of Arms of the Hanover Dynasty. In 1975 pews were removed from the west gallery to form space for social purposes.

A616/A6024 south of Huddersfield, in the centre of Holmfirth opposite bus station. Rail: Huddersfield (8 miles). Bus: Many services, mainly from Huddersfield but also Leeds, Halifax and Wakefield.
