Moated manor house covering nearly 700 years of history from medieval times to 1960s. Visitor route includes Tudor Chapel, Billiards Room, Drawing Room, apartments of Charles Henry Robinson, the American donor of Ightham Mote to the National Trust. Grade I listed dog kennel in the courtyard and Mote Cottages. Interpretation displays and special exhibition featuring conservation in action.

The house is open 27th February - 30th October 11am - 5pm 5th November - 20th November Saturday and Sunday 11am. - 3pm 26th November - 31st December 11am - 3pm Garden, cafe, exhibition and shop Open all year 10am-5pm

6 miles east of Sevenoaks, off A25 and 2½ miles south of Ightham off A227. Rail: Borough Green and Wrotham (3½ miles). Bus: New Enterprise 222 Tunbridge Wells - Borough Green, alight Fairlawne, thence ½ mile footpath walk; Southlands 404 from Sevenoaks, alight Ivy Hatch, ¾ mile.
