Grade I listed manor house, Elizabethan in origin, enlarged in late 1660s. Mapperton has remained almost unchanged since then. The buildings consist of the manor, church, stables, dovecote and outbuildings, forming a harmonious group. Set in a unique valley garden, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
