Grade I listed Country House. 18th century core, refurbished by sir John Soane 1790 -99 for Godfrey Thornton. Further alteration by Soane for Thornton's son Stephen between 1806 and 1811. Set in 33 acre parkland originally landscaped by Humphrey Repton.


Opening Arrangements

Grounds open throughout the year 10am - 5pm. (except Christmas period). House tours available on request for £5.00 per adult (Children free).
