Grade I listed Country House. 18th century core, refurbished by sir John Soane 1790 -99 for Godfrey Thornton. Further alteration by Soane for Thornton's son Stephen between 1806 and 1811. Set in 33 acre parkland originally landscaped by Humphrey Repton.

Grounds open throughout the year 10am - 5pm. (except Christmas period). House tours available on request from 28 March until late 2018 (see Admission Charge for details).
