Purpose-built factory for the manufacture of fittings (handles, ornaments, and etc.) and funerary shrouds and coffin linings. The factory was built in 1894 and closed in 1999, when it was left with all its contents intact as if at the end of an ordinary working day. Costumed guides tell the story of the manufacturing process and of the people who worked there.


Opening Arrangements

Weekly, Wednesday - Sunday except over Christmas (closed 21st December - 3rd January). Opening times: guided tours on the hour at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
