Old St Helen's Church is one of the oldest buildings in Hastings. The ruins have features dating from the 11th century. The church and churchyard is a scheduled ancient monument and the church can be visited at any time. Interpretation panels can help guide your visit. The Friends of Old St Helen's Church occasionally hold open days when it is possible to access the new stair within the tower and enjoy the wonderful views to the sea.

Opening Arrangements

The grounds and exterior structure are open to the public all year round. Access to the tower is currently closed until further notice, the tower normally has limited periods of access throughout the year and is only available during special events or Heritage Open Days.
