Dating from 1719, built as a Presbyterian Chapel which later became congregational. Three galleries and school room added later in 1836 when the façade was re-designed.

Access arrangements are publicised on a noticeboard outside the building. The local committee organise a large and varied programme of public events which are advertised locally and on HCT's website. Events programme for 2016 is being organised - the Chapel is due to be open on Heritage Open Day weekend.
