Built in 1325, the hall is a black and white timbered manor house set in extensive grounds. Independently owned and administered since 1925 by The Samlesbury Hall Trust whose primary aim is to maintain and preserve the property for the enjoyment and pleasure of the public. Currently open to the public as a historic, educational, craft, design and antique centre.
