Grade I listed church dating from the 15th century. South aisle was rebuilt in the 17th century with some restoration in 1883. Late 15th century waggon roofs to nave and chancel. Gothic-style altar rail c1790. Rare 16th century benches with carved tracery, one dated 1580. 13th century preaching cross in the grounds.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Wednesdays 11am-4pm. At other times the keys can be obtained from the house on the north of the church, or by ringing one of the telephone numbers found in the church porch.


3 miles west of Bideford, off A39 at Fairy Cross. Rail: Barnstaple (15 miles). Bus: route 319 (Bideford to Hartland) stops at Fairy Cross (1 mile).
