St Andrew, Church Lane

St Andrew, Church Lane, Langar, Nottinghamshire NG13 9HG View on map

Dates from 13th century and is a cruciform structure, consisting of nave with clerestory, north and south aisles, south porch, north and south transepts, a central tower and a chancel with a small north vestry. The main features of interest are the fine monuments in the transepts.


Opening Arrangements

7 days a week. Vestry and kitchen are closed whilst church not in use.


The church is at the end of church Lane. Langar is 4 miles south of Bingham (A52) and 4 miles east of Cropwell Bishop (A46). Rail: Bingham (5 miles). Bus: Trent Barton service Villager 2 currently serves the village 6 days a week (not Sundays).
