St Andrew, Stonham Road, Cotton, Suffolk IP14 4RG View on map

Parish church built entirely in the first half of the 14th century and a first rate clearstory and nave roof added in c.1475. The painted south doorway is unique in Suffolk and probably England. This feature is an open porch and viewable at all times.

Open every Friday: 10am to 5pm Summer; 10am to 4pm Winter.


Either B1113 or A140 to Cotton village; church at junction of Stonham Road, Mendlesham Road and Church Road. Rail: Stowmarket (6 miles). No regular bus service.
