Small Victorian church built in 1858 predominately of Cefn sandstone. Bright open interior, raised chancel with tiled floor, fine marble mosaic altarpiece and encaustic tiles set into screen wall. Hill top location with commanding views, including Breidden Hills, the Wrekin, the Stiperstones, Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge.
All year; first and third weekends, 10am-5pm. Also at other times by arrangement with churchwarden Edward Bevan (01691 266838)
On the A495 between Ellesmere and Oswestry. Rail: Gobowen (approximately 6 miles). Bus: No 449 (Oswestry to Whitchurch).
