Former chapel of ease, now a parish church. Restored and re-fitted mid 20th century. Reredos with carved angel terminals by Rachel Reckett, 1961.


Opening Arrangements

All year: daily, 8am to dusk.


Rural location, on the edge of Exmoor 2 miles SW of A39. Rail: Taunton, First Great Western (25 miles) Minehead, West Somerset Railway (6 miles). Bus: First route 28 (Minehead to Taunton, every 30 minutes), or Webber Bus route 18 (Minehead to Taunton, every 30 minutes). Exit at stop on Withycombe Lane, Carhampton then walk approximately 2 miles.
