St Bartholomew, Moreton Corbet, Shropshire SY4 4DW View on map

Alongside Moreton Corbet Castle, this church has historical connections to the Corbet family from 1254. The chancel, decorated by Ninian Cooper, is unique. There are stained glass windows, stone memorials with Corbet heraldry and chest tombs from the 16th century.

From A53 take the B5063 to Shawbury. After 3/4 mile, turn right towards Stanton. After 100 yards turn right and the church is beside Moreton Corbet Castle. Rail: Wem (4 miles), Shrewsbury (8 miles). Bus: No 64 Shrewsbury to Shawbury.
