Grade I listed church dedicated to St Catherine of Alexandria standing on site of ancient church built around AD 850, traces of which can be seen near the porch and in a small window in the west wall. Nave and chancel early English Gothic but chancel extensively re built in 1860. Jacobean pulpit. Royal Air Force War Graves in the churchyard .


Opening Arrangements

All year: Wednesday 10am - noon. Any other time by arrangement with key holder Cilla Sammy.


From Beverley follow A164 into village. Turn right along Arram Road and church is straight ahead around the first corner. Rail: Arram (2 miles), Beverley (3 miles). Bus: Eyms Bus Service No 121.
