St Chads is an ancient church nestled beneath the village of Holt and Farndon, a popular stop off for visitors who come to see the civil war window, there is a 13th century tower and the church was used as a garrison by Oliver Cromwell's army during the English Civil War

Daily except Sunday 8.30am - 4pm.

Directions

In the centre of Farndon village and accessible from the A534 and also direct from chester on the Aldford Road. Nearest railway stations Chester-Wrexham, both approximately 9 miles. Bus No 56 from Chester to Wrexham, every 2 hours from 8-6pm, Saturday 9-5 pm, no Sunday service
