Grade II listed church built 1930 -32 with much of the funding raised by children from the Liverpool Diocese. This is why the church is often know as the "Children's Church" and the architect, Bernard Miller, incorporated sculptures of children into the art deco design. Described as the architect’s most original church and one of the best of the period between the wars.

Off A580 Townsend Road, into Broad Lane, church is on the junction of Broad Lane and Lorenzo Drive. Rail: Rice Lane (approximately 2 miles). Bus: No's 61 and 161.
