A church of outstanding interest for its imposing Norman tower which ranks among the most notable surviving nationally. Has major interest for its later phases, including the splendid nave arcades and angel-boss roof, a wealth of medieval features from various dates and many monuments dating from the 17th - 19th centuries. Its context within the Cinque Port of Sandwich gives the church outstanding historic interest.


Opening Arrangements

May 1st to 30th September opening times are as follows Monday 1pm - 4 pm Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. Sunday 2 pm - 5 pm Otherwise contact Mr David Senior at any other reasonable time.


A256 or A257 to Sandwich Quay, then a short walk up Knightrider Street. Rail: Sandwich (10 minutes walk). Bus: Stagecoach Services 13, 13A and 14 (Canterbury - Deal) stop at Sandwich Guildhall (5 minutes walk).
