Grade I listed parish church in rural surroundings dating from the early 14th century. Extensively re-constructed in later years to form a traditionally styled sandstone building with impressive stained glass windows, a 40m high bell tower, and castellated parapet wall with pinnacles and gargoyles.


Opening Arrangements

All year; first Saturday of the month 9:30am - 12pm; each Monday 9am - 12pm. At other times by arrangement with the access contact or key holders. Details displayed on the notice board.


In Horsley village off A38, 7 miles north of Derby. Rail: Derby (8 miles), Belper (5 miles). Bus: Amberline bus from Derby Council House to Horsley Village hourly.
