Norman church (c1175) with Victorian renovation. Site of Edward I receiving obeisance from contenders to Scottish throne (14th century). Large churchyard, monument inscriptions held in book at back of church. Base from which Robert Bruce attacked Norham Castle. Information boards welcoming visitors.
