One of the largest and oldest churches in the Midlands, dating back 1200 years. A former collegiate church with fine stained glass windows and a rare double helix spiral staircase. 13th century crypt, possibly a chapel, incorporated into the present church in the 14th century.


Opening Arrangements

Monday-Friday 9:30am-3:30pm; Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm. Saturdays to be extended to 3:30pm if there are enough volunteers.

In Tamworth town centre. Rail: Tamworth (½ mile). Bus: bus station within ¼ mile to local destinations.
