St Edmund, Church Lane

St Edmund, Church Lane, Kellington, Goole, East Yorkshire DN14 0SB View on map

Grade I listed church around 1000 years old set approximately ¼ mile outside the village. Fine east window of 1860 depicting The Last Supper and a 1915 window of St Edmund. Connections with the Knights Templar including a 14th century Knight tombstone and two others. Church underpinned in 1992 to allow mining underneath by Kellingley colliery.

December 1st, 2nd, 15th, 16th, 29th, 30th. Other times were still under review at time of publication.


Junction 34 M62, approximately 1½ miles west of A19 Selby to Doncaster road and north of A645 Knottingley to Snaith road. Rail: Selby (7 miles). Bus: Infrequent service Wakefield - Selby no. 150 Arriva.
