Grade I listed church around 1000 years old set approximately ¼ mile outside the village. Fine east window of 1860 depicting The Last Supper and a 1915 window of St Edmund. Connections with the Knights Templar including a 14th century Knight tombstone and two others. Church underpinned in 1992 to allow mining underneath by Kellingley colliery.

October: Saturday the 1st, 15th and 29th. November: Saturday the 5th, 19th and 26th. December: Saturday the 3rd and 17th. Also open when preparing for major services such as Easter and Christmas.
