Oldest surviving German church in England from 1763 with mostly original furnishings including box pews on ground floor and in balconies. Double-decker central pulpit with sounding board set behind altar rails. 19th century Walcker organ.


Opening Arrangements

By prior arrangement Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm by ringing/e-mailing in advance. HCT's office is based at St George's. Guides for group visits available. An 'Open Church' event is held regularly in the summer months, whereby the church is open at lunchtime for visitors. Free monthly organ recital at 1pm on first Thursday of the month.
