St Giles, The Street

St Giles, The Street, Dallington, Heathfield, East Sussex TN21 9NH View on map

St Giles Church, Dallington was pulled down in 1864 and rebuilt but the tower and spire remain from the original building, which it is believed dates back to the 12th Century. Regular worship has been recorded since 1886 and there are services every Sunday throughout the year. The church is open 7 days a week and visitors are welcomed.

St. Giles is situated in The Street which is some half a mile from the B2096 Heathfield to Battle road in East Sussex. There is only a twice weekly bus service serving the village with the bus stop 1/4 mile away on the B2096
