St Helen, Bellevue Bank, Low Fell, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear NE9 6BT View on map

This grade II church was built in 1876 at the expense of Edward Joicey of Whinney House. The architect was Mr John Wardle and the style Early English. The interior is dressed stone and the south aisle has stained glass by Kempe & Burne-Jones.

Wednesday 8.30am-11.30am, Sunday 9.00am- 11.00am. If visitors would like to hear the Willis Organ it is used for Sunday worship at 9.30am. Other times by arrangement.
