Grade I listed parish church 12th-13th century and set within 200 yards of the Thames estuary facing the North Sea. The tower dates from 1903-5. Repair to main door inside the porch is from a Dutch warship and was made when seamen from the Dutch fleet broke into the church. A full description of this event hangs in the porch.
Every Sunday 10am -11am and 12:30 - 1pm. First Saturday every month 9am to 12pm. Additional dates to be added for events, exhibitions, etc and will be displayed on church notice board. Church wardens always available to open.
