St John the Baptist, Kirdford, Chichester, West Sussex RH14 0LT View on map

Grade I listed church built in 12th century of sandstone, roofed with Horsham stone slates. Chancel extended in 13th century and tower added 15th century. Porch, ringers' gallery and altar rails date from 16th century. 17th-century Sussex marble font. Very few restorations. Four Kempe stained glass windows and a six bell tower.

Daily - 10am to 5pm or dusk if earlier.


From A272 at Wisborough Green take turning to Kirdford. Church is approximately 2½ miles and is opposite the Half Moon pub. Rail: Billingshurst (6 miles). No bus route.
