Late 13th and 14th century church built in Old English style on the site of a former Saxon church. Restored in 1848. East window to North aisle depicts the Crucifixion and was dedicated to local miners and quarrymen who lost their lives in industry.
Monday - Friday 10am - 12pm, Saturday 8am - 12pm. Sunday 9am - 1pm (services normally commence at 10am). Contact details for 3 key holders posted on church notice board. At other times by prior arrangement with The Vicarage, 37 North Street. Email via website.
