St John the Evangelist, Oldham Road, Failsworth, Greater Manchester M35 9PA View on map

Grade II listed church built 1845-6 by E H Shellard for the Church Commissioners. Comprising nave, chancel, 4 tier west tower and a landmark broach spire. Interior has notable stained glass and arcaded parapet to west gallery supported on cast-iron columns which now accommodates the organ.


Opening Arrangements

Junction 22 M60, Failsworth is on A62 between Oldham and Manchester. Rail Failsworth (½ mile). Bus: No's 20, 24, 72, 82 and 83 from Manchester.
