Grade II listed building with a modified Norman tower and stained glass windows. Evidence of a 14th-century building over the entrance. A decorated rood screen and three bells hung for Ellacombe chiming. Re-ordered by G E Street in the 1850s.

Located in the centre of the village on the main road off the A361 between Boxham and South Newington, south of Banbury. Banbury railway station is 5 miles away. The 488 bus route goes past the church between Banbury and Chipping Norton. Hourly service, evening limited with no service on Sunday.
