St Lawrence, Church Lane, Sedgebrook, Lincolnshire NG32 2EU View on map

Grade I listed building sitting adjacent to the Manor in the centre of Sedgebrook. Constructed between the 12th and 15th centuries from golden Ironstone and stone dressings. Combines Norman heritage (columns, arches and font) with 15th century Gothic, 17th century pulpit and rood screen and mid-19th century organ. Sir John Markham 'The Upright Judge' retired to a loft above the Chantry Chapel.


Opening Arrangements

Every Sunday 10am - 5pm. Please note that worship takes place on the first and third Sunday of the month from 10.30am - 11.30am.


Sedgebrook lies just off the A52 between Bottesford and Grantham. Take the turning signposted Allington & Sedgebrook and as the road bears to the left, turn right and then keep left at the green. The church is on your left. Rail: Bottesford (3.5 miles) and Grantham (4.6 miles).
