Grade II listed church by A P Brevitt built in 1871 of red sandstone. Interior has cast iron columns, a painted pulpit in gothic style and tapestry in St George's side chapel. Six stained glass windows, four depicting gospel writers and metaphysical, early commonwealth poets.

Opening Arrangements

Wednesdays 9:30am-10:45am; Second and last Saturday each month (access via church hall if front door not open) 9:30am-12pm.

Directions

M6 junction 13, then A449 towards Stafford, turn right at 1st traffic island and follow Mill Lane into village. Turn right into Lower Penkridge Road and proceed to church. Rail: Penkridge and Stafford (both 3 miles). Bus: No 7 (Stratford to Acton Trussell).
