St Leonard, Church End, Sherfield on Loddon, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG27 0JB View on map

14th century church on raised elevation. Almost wholly rebuilt in 1866 by Woodman and 1872 (tower) by J W Hugnall. Some survival of 14th century traceried windows, brasses of 1590, 1595 and a painted 'benefactors' panel of 1710.

Off A33, one mile south of Sherfield Lodden. Rail: Bramley (2½ miles), Basingstoke (5 miles). Bus: route 14 and 15 from Basingstoke stops at Church End. Weekdays only.
