St Leonard's church is all that is left of a manor house and hamlet that once stood by the pond. The church was probably built by the De Mauditt family between 1100 and 1125. The little Norman church has a fine horseshoe chancel arch, a 15th-century font and some interesting memorials to the Stuart family from the 16th century.


Opening Arrangements

Every day: 10am - 4pm. The church is manually locked each evening.


Situated in Hartley Lane, a narrow road from West Worldham to Oakhanger. The nearest station is at Alton, approx 3 miles away. The nearest bus service is within ¾ mile of The Roundhouse on the Alton to Petersfield service.
