St Leonards Parish Church, 64 - 66 Marina, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN38 0BE View on map

Built 1953-61 by Sir Giles and Adrian Gilbert Scott. An attractive example of these architects post war work showing a fusion of traditional and modern building methods and incorporating maritime themes in the pulpit, font, green stone wall finish and fish decoration in chancel marble floor. Illuminated tower is a landmark to ships.


Opening Arrangements

Mondays (term times only) 09.30 - 1.30pm. April 3rd - September 24th; Saturdays 1-4pm (excluding August). August 1st - 26th open on Monday's, Tuesday's, Thursday's, Friday's from 11am - 4.30pm.


On the seafront opposite Pay and Display car park. Rail: Warrior Square: (0.8 miles). Bus: No's 98 and 99 Stagecoach stop at Warrior Square or Bo Peep Inn.
