St Luke, Torver, Coniston, Cumbria LA21 8BS View on map

Designed by Paley & Austin of Lancaster, built in 1884 of local stone. A plain rectangular church with central buttressed tower. Stained glass in east, west and three other windows. Interior has typical Victorian features, large wooden panels.

27th March - 2nd October, Sunday 9am - 5pm.


On A593, a short distance north of junction with A5084. Church is next to the Church House Inn. Rail: Ulverston (14 miles). Bus: X12 (Ulverston to Coniston, approximately every 1½ hours Monday - Saturday)
