Parish church c1300 with Easter Sepulchre built on site of an earlier foundation mentioned in Domesday. Late 16th century screen with Tympanum finely pained with Royal Arms of Elizabeth I combined with Commandments. Medieval and Stuart bench-ends with poppy heads and mutilated figures on the arm rests. Simple octagonal font. Notable rectors include Puritan lecturer Jeremiah Burrows
