St Margaret, The Street, Wattisfield, Suffolk IP22 1NS View on map

Parish church comprising of a nave with north porch and south porch (the latter now the vestry), chancel, and west tower. The current church is datable back toi the mid 14th century, in particular the north porch, the arch over the north door, the tower arch and the font. The rood loft staircase also survives complete. However, it is worth noting that the village and its church are mentioned in the Domesday survey, Therefore, it is likely that the current church lies on the site of a much earlier church and that some fragments of this remain.
