Grade I listed parish church, early 12th century with 14th - 16th century additions and alterations. Restored 1858 -9. North window of nave contains heraldic glass of 1561. 16th century altar tomb to John Pakington.

Saturdays and Sundays in June, July, August and September, 10am-5pm.


Approximately 3 miles from junction 15 of M6. Take A500, then A34 north, turn right at lights by Black Lion pub, then left into Trent Valley Road. Rail: Stoke on Trent (approximately 1 mile). Bus: Nos 51 and 24 (infrequent service Newcastle to Hanley).
