St Mary, Billingsley

Grade II listed church built c1140. Interior contains Easter Sepulchre dating from 1320. Norman font and an unusual Jacobean double pulpit. Two old bells, one from 14th century and ancient yew trees in churchyard.

Situated down an unmade single lane track off the B4363 half way between Cleobury Mortimer and Bridgnorth in Billingsley village. Rail: Severn Valley Railway Bridgnorth (5½ miles). Bus: Route 751 Cleobury Mortimer - Kidderminster (Thursdays only) stops at Cape of Good Hope Public House, one mile away.
