St Marys is a grade I listed building, of national importance, 12th century origins, Chancel rebuilt early 14th century, the tower early 15th century. 19th century restorations. Built of flint and stone. Wycliffe the non-resident vicar in the 14th century.


Opening Arrangements

The church is open 7 days a week between 9.30 am and 5 pm with free entry.


The church is located at the South end of the High Street at the junction with Church Lane. Ludgershall is 3 miles from the A41, 9 miles from Bicester, 12 miles for Aylesbury. Bicester North and Town railway stations are approx. 9 miles away. A limited rural weekday bus service.
