Twelfth-century church sitting on the crest of a hill with spectacular views. The nave and what is believed to have been a tower on the north east are 12th century, which with the 13th-century south chapel and chancel create a cross. Present tower is c1500.


Opening Arrangements

Open 9.30am until dusk every day.


2 miles north of Storrington, 4 miles south of Coolham on B2139. Turn in to Thakeham village. Church is at bottom of the lane that descends through village. Rail: Billinghurst 7.5 miles. Not covered by bus route.
